Scuba diving course. The Open Water diving course is the most popular in the world. Three out of four divers in the world have started the sport of diving with this certification. In the PADI certification system there are 3 levels of purely recreational dive licenses:
- Open Water Diver: Initial certification in which the student starts from scratch. After the course, the student is certified as a diver and can dive to a depth of 18 meters
- Advance Open Water Diver: Second certification, whose only requirement is to have completed the first course. After this course the certified diver is authorized to dive up to 40 meters deep.
- Rescue Diver: Third recreational course, whose requirements is to have completed the Advance course and to have taken a first aid course. This course empowers the diver to perform water rescue technique.
Open Water Diver diving course
The diving course is divided into three parts. Theoretical part consisting of 5 instructional videos of 1 hour each, reading the manual, class on dive tables, knowledge reviews and final exam. The part of practices in swimming pool that consists of 1 or 2 classes of 3 hours in a swimming pool. In this part of the course you will learn all the diving techniques that you will practice at sea. The part of diving in the sea, which consists of 4 dives in the sea of Pucusana.
