NITROX is a Scuba diving school in Lima. Discover the richness of the Peruvian sea from the depths. Peru has an incredible marine biodiversity. This is recognized as one of the richest in the world, as it has more than a thousand species of fish, in addition to mollusks, crustaceans, marine mammals and algae.

The Peruvian coast has 3080 kilometers of coastline and each region of Peru has coasts with different geographical and biological characteristics. For example, the southern coasts are cold, while the northern coasts are warm and the marine life is tropical.

On the coast of Lima, you can discover with us a spectacular underwater world. On the beaches of Pucusana, marine life abounds. For example, you can see seahorses, octopus, paint, crabs, rays. You can also dive with sea lions.

Scuba Diving in Lima: Courses

With us, you can obtain an international PADI license in a few days of training. As a PADI diver, you can dive worldwide and rent diving equipment by presenting your license only.

Scuba Diving in Lima

The first level of the license is called: PADI Open Water Scuba Diver (open water diver). This is obtained after taking a course that takes between 3 to 5 days. It is worth mentioning that this course is quite simple and not at all complicated. What’s more is an extremely fun and safe course.

After completing the Open Water course, you can dive without the need of an instructor up to 18 meters deep. If you want to learn to dive deeper and improve the techniques learned, we recommend you take the second course: Advance Open Water.

In the Advance Open Water course, you do 5 adventure dives. In each of these adventures you will discover different diving modalities or specialties. Specialties such as wreck diving, night diving, deep diving, among others. At the end of this course, you can dive to depths of 40 meters, without the need for an instructor’s guide.

Finally, if you want to consolidate all the lessons learned in the previous two courses, the third course called Rescue Diver will give you valuable knowledge about diving and water rescue.
